Jonathan was born in Hilo, Hawaii, and born again in his teens after several years of intense rebellion. He attended Bob Jones University and graduated in 2003. Jonathan served on staff with his home church, Believers Baptist in Leesburg, Virginia for 5 years before beginning a Masters degree at Greenville Seminary in South Carolina. While in seminary he served at Hampton Park Baptist Church.

Jonathan has been married to his wife Heather since 2002. After seeking the Lord for children for the first six years of their marriage, God has seen fit to bless them with five in the last four years. Elizabeth, Eliana, Emiline. Eleanor, and Edith are their little blessings.

Whenever he is not reading, Jonathan can be found watching or participating in nearly every kind of sport or wrestling with his three little girls. He also enjoys watching a good movie with his wife to finish off a great Date Night.
Jonathan began working as Teaching Pastor at Beaver Baptist in 2013.
